He worked in London and Madrid in both retail and corporate banking, before moving to Barclays Private Bank in 1994 to specialise in private client wealth management.
There he became regional director for Europe and the Americas before moving to the Bank of Bermuda in 2000 in order to lead the bank’s private client business. At the Bank of Bermuda he was president of Bermuda Trust Company Ltd. and a director of several associated companies.
Following the acquisition of the Bank of Bermuda by HSBC in 2005, Mr. Howard joined Aurelia Finance, a private Swiss investment management partnership, specializing in hedge funds and alternative asset management strategies. After five years at Aurelia, Mr. Howard moved to Tribley Asset Management Ltd. in 2009.
Mr. Howard has accumulated substantial knowledge of hedge fund and private equity managers operating in the world’s leading financial centres and has many years experience in advising global family offices and private clients on investment strategies.
Mr. Howard graduated from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Arts degree in modern languages and subsequently became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Mr. Howard is President of Tribley Asset Management Ltd.
